One Meaning Couture will be donating to AiA in March
Posted Monday, March 1st, 2010 at 7:38 pm under Networking.For March, One Meaning Couture feels lucky to be able to announce that their Charity of the Month is Art in All of Us, which is a cool not-for-profit based in New York, New York and Brussels, Belgium that promotes tolerance and cultural exchange throughout the 192 UN member countries through art and creativity activities.
During the entire month of March, they will be donating 8.13% of all sales to VAD, as well as featuring additional fundraising opportunities for them, starting here: One Meaning will donate an additional $5 for every purchase of any of our Devon’s Feather Bracelets. Named after one of the bravest little people they know.
AiA endeavors to enrich the lives of children by inspiring them to create a portal through which they can look at each other’s lives in a cross-cultural context. Art in All of Us was founded by Anthony Asael and Stephanie Rabemiafara in 2005 in Belgium. They developed a strong team and an extensive global network of NGOs/Foundations in order to support AiA’s cause.
Currently, AiA is focused on expanding its US presence in New York City by partnering with various local organizations, with the objective of establishing long-term sustainable child art programs. Their main partner is the UNICEF is also based in New York and help them to realize their Mission.
One Meaning’s dedication to highlighting a different charity each month came about because of our strong belief in the importance of paying equal attention to all charities – global causes or the one supported by a lemonade stand in the middle of the block. Everyone needs a little help.
